  • Sagun J. Pendse, M.D., F.A.C.S.

    Dr. Pendse provides comprehensive eye care including the medical management of Glaucoma. He specializes in cataract surgery utilizing the most advanced technology including the newest intraocular lens implants that correct astigmatism (AcrySof Toric), and correct both distance and near vision (Crystalens, ReStor, and Tecnis Multifocal). Dr. Pendse also offers Laser Refractive Surgery and Functional Eyelid Surgery. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. As a graduate of Temple University School of Medicine, he was selected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Wills Eye Hospital where he served as Co-Chief Resident during his final year. After his residency, he was in private practice for three years in Wilmington, Delaware and an additional two years in Philadelphia. He is an experienced surgeon who teaches Cataract Surgery to Resident Physicians training at the Wills Eye Institute. Dr. Pendse is Board Certified and on staff at Aria Health, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and the Wills Eye Institute. He is actively involved in the education of the Ophthalmology Residents at Wills Eye Institute as a member of the Cataract and Primary Eye Care Service. He also covers Trauma Call at the Wills Eye Emergency Room and performs many emergency eye surgeries there.

  • Vincent F. Sardi, M.D., F.A.C.S.

    Vincent F. Sardi, M.D. F.A.C.S. is a Vitreoretinal Specialist. He is an expert in diseases that affect the retina such as diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. He also performs surgery to correct retinal detachments, macular holes, and epiretinal membranes. Dr. Sardi graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his medical degree at Temple University in 1984. After finishing his ophthalmology residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York, NY, he continued on to complete a fellowship in the Diseases & Surgery of the Retina and Vitreous with Retina & Vitreous Associates of Kentucky in Lexington in 1989. He holds Board Certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He also provides consultation services at other locations throughout New Jersey and Bucks County.

  • Victoria Ries, O.D.

    Dr. Victoria Ries received her Bachelor of Science and Philosophy degree in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Pittsburgh, graduating from the Honors College, Summa Cum Laude. She went on to attend New England College of Optometry where she was inducted into the Optometric honors society, Beta Sigma Kappa. During her four years in Optometry school, Dr. Ries completed internships at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the Providence Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Ries graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2012 and continued her education in ocular pathology by completing an Optometric residency at the Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Ries has spent the last four years, practicing primary care optometry, in a busy ophthalmology practice located in southern New Jersey. During this time she not only focused on primary eye care, but also managed ocular pathology, performed low vision exams, co-managed post-operative cataract patients and provided specialty contact lens fittings. She, currently, takes a special interest in all aspects of ocular pathology. She is excited about joining Eye Associates of Bucks County and providing comprehensive ophthalmic care for the community.

  • Dr. Scott J. Fudemberg, MD, FACS

    Dr. Fudemberg graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. He attended medical school at St. Louis University where he graduated with a Distinction in Research. He served as an Ophthalmology Resident at the University of Kansas, where he was appointed a Co-Chief Resident and received the Alan W. Riley Award as Resident of the Year. He returned to Philadelphia to complete the prestigious Glaucoma Fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital. Upon completing his fellowship in 2008, he joined Glaucoma Care Specialists. His practice has focused on providing high quality care for patients with Glaucoma in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs. Dr. Fudemberg has remained active in academics as a member of the faculty at Wills Eye Hospital, where he remains one of the primary attending physicians for the residents and fellows at Wills Eye. He has also authored numerous publications in peer reviewed journals and textbooks as well as presented work at international meetings. He was an editor of the Yearbook of Ophthalmology’s Glaucoma Section and has served as a reviewer for major ophthalmology journals. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology.

  • Dr. Jasmeeta P. Patel, MD

    Dr. Jasmeeta Patel provides comprehensive eye care for a wide range of eye conditions including cataracts and the medical management of Glaucoma. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Temple University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Minor in Healthcare Management. Dr. Patel graduated from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and then completed her internship at Lankenau Medical Center in Wynnwood, PA. Following her internship, she returned Temple University Hospital where Dr. Patel completed her ophthalmology residency. Dr. Patel is local to Bucks County as she spent most of her childhood in Morrisville, PA. She has returned to Bucks County and joined our practice.

  • Dr. Blair K. Armstrong, MD

    Blair K. Armstrong, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastic, orbital, and reconstructive surgery. She treats a wide variety of eyelid, orbital and lacrimal conditions, and thyroid eye disease. She has a special interest in eyelid reconstruction and in cosmetic surgical and nonsurgical treatments of the face and peri-ocular region. Dr. Armstrong grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs and earned her Bachelors of Science cum laude from Boston College. She returned to Philadelphia and attended Jefferson Medical College where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society, awarded the Beach scholarship for service, compassion, and scholarship, received the ophthalmology award (honorable mention), and graduated cum laude. Dr. Armstrong pursued her internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center and completed her ophthalmology training at the world-renowned Wills Eye Hospital. As a Wills Eye Hospital resident, Dr. Armstrong was nominated for the Jefferson Faculty Association Resident Award as well as the Philadelphia County Medical Society Award for Humaneness in Medicine. Dr. Armstrong then completed a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastics, orbital, and reconstructive surgery at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Following fellowship, Dr. Armstrong became the Director of Ophthalmic Plastic, Reconstructive, and Orbital surgery at Boston University and an assistant professor at Boston University School of Medicine; she worked with a diverse population of patients with complicated pathology and trained both residents and medical students. Dr. Armstrong has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and has been an invited speaker at many conferences and meetings. Dr. Armstrong is pleased to return to her Philadelphia-area roots. When not working, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and leading an active lifestyle.
